My computer is acting very strange. When I start it, the CPU checks for errors in the RAM, but It dosn't do that. Also when I boot it up, it normally checks the floppy drives for bootable disks. But for some crazy reason, it dosn't do that. I can get into DOS, but It loads very very slow (even on turbo mode, which I can easily turn on / off because there is a turbo button).
[Not sounding like a broken record here, but,]
What does this mean? How can I fix it?
There are 3 types of people in this world, those who can count and those who can't.

How the RAM is checked (the method used) is a setting in the bios. As well, seeking for the floppy on boot is also a bios setting.
Post your config.sys and autoexec.bat files. Wouldn't hurt to post your msdos.sys file as well.
You've listed 66Mhz. Is this a 486?
The more detail(s) you post, the better the response you'll get.

Yep, that sure sounds like the BIOS CMOS Setup has been changed. Either someone was playing around in it or the battery went down and defaults got set. The slow loading from diskette is a symptom on these older machines that CMOS is not setup correctly for the diskette drive type.
