Hi,
I recently bought a Dell Dimension 4300S which has a Pentium 4 processor. I took off XP as my software doesn't run on XP and re-formatted the drive and loaded Win98. My dos based editor Norton Editor (ne.exe or ne.com) does not work on this PC anymore.
Any ideas? Any other Dos based text editors one can recommend?

I can't see why norton editor doesn't work. But try edit.com in the \windows\command directory. Also, you can use the QuickBasic editor which works fine. Qbasic is downloadable from a number of sites.
