Hello there!

I have a question about networking under DOS. As far as i can understand, Dos wasn't designed to be network compatible at first, so you need additional software to get network support in dos.

Now, i wounder, is it possible to have a Networked DOs machine in a regular TCP/IP network among with other computers.

I' want to connect my DOS machine to our network at home, will i be able to connect it to a router and have acess to the internet and be able to share files with the other computers in the network?

Maybe it won't work at all, but i would be great if it did! I know very little about DOS-networking, so it would be great to learn some more about it.

Thanks!

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.
