I want to network a 486 pc that is running dos 6.22 to a pc runing win2000 pro. The 486 will be used as a data server. I will also need to share the c drive of the 486 so that i can access it throiugh the win2000 pro PC.

If anyone can help me out i will be very gratefull indeed.

Look for a website, search for "Helmig" or "wown" He has a RAFT of info on networking. I understand you can still download the "workgroup connection" for DOS or Win3x for free. Also, look in previous posts here and in the Win9x section, questions on networking, others have posted these site url's many times.

Can it be share? I've networked my 486 running MS DOS 6.22 I can connect to any Windows machine but the Windows machine can't connect to the 486.

I can be wrong so...
