Hi.I have a laptop and i have just dos on it . I would like to install windows 2000 pro but i dont have any CD ROM in my notebook.
I Have networkcard 3com. I wonder if there is possible to install windows buy connecting useing net use command in dos to my other PC. I dont know how to install drivers for my networkcard and install tcp/ip protocol so i can connect to my PC and make remote installation. Sorry for my bad english but i hope you understand a little bit of what im trying to explain.

have you tried to search for a dos driver at the 3com page?

in the worst case i know a solution for you.
i've a linux version that needs only one disk. it has drivers for the most network cards. you could connet with linux to your fileserver and copy the w2k installfiles on yor pc. i would give you support

Yes please do. I would like your support. Should i start to download linux and install it on my laptop ? please tell me how to make that installation and how to find that disk with all the drivers needed for such a configuration. Im waiting ..
