I have developed a program to transfer data from one computer to other using netbios. now I need the information/source code for dos pipe so that I can transfer data through pipe.Can I assign a drive name (X:)to these pipe as in OS2.

No not that Dos pipe. In OS2 there are some functions to creat network pipe so that data and files can be read/write from the other workstation.
