Hello Everyone I am trying to connect a dos based pc to a nt4 domain controller to access some shared resources. I have followed the instructions on the "Connecting from a DOS-system to an NT4 Server" from wown1.com. I have a board with a built in NIC, and the NIC is not listed in the Network Client list so i had to update the list and it worked. I added TCP/IP and deleted all the other protocols to conserve memory also use himem.sys and emm386.exe to load everything in highload. I setup my user name, computer name, domain name, ip addresses and etc. When i reboot it askes me for user name and i hit enter, then password, i hit enter, password for my domain, i hit enter. Then i get an error message saying i was logged in but i did not get authinticated. I also try to ping the server but no responde. And the light on the hub/switch port where this pc is connected to keeps on flashing fast nonestop as if its sending/recieving packets...
PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I SHOOT MYSELF.... E-mail me please ....... sssolidnesss@yahoo.com
