You all know netsend. Were u can send messages from 1 computer to another in the network. Well i have a question.
How can i send someone a message through DOS that are NOT in the network.. Like how can i send a person a message if he/she has there own computer. My buddy sent me a pop message and i know he used DOS, because i used DOS to send the pop ups over the network. But he sent me a message alone, i dont have a network and he sill managed to send it to me somehow. I know he knew my ip. So i was wondering if someone knew the command for it .. Thanks ahead of time-Bootleg

You are incorrect in assuming this was done from DOS. There are several programs available that use the messenger service built into all NT flavors of windows to send these pop messages. As long as you are on the web and he has your IP, he can use one of these programs to send a message to you.
