Hi,
I have a MS DOS6.22 machine and i want to communicate with a Windows Xp system. The NIC driver used is Marvell yukodi for the DOS machine. I have installed the NIC driver for DOS machine. Also microsoft network client is also installed.
When i connected two MS DOS 6.22 machine, i was able to map the network using net share and net use command. But when i shared a folder in Ms DOS machine and tried to access it in XP using net use command, i got the following error
System error 67 has occurred.

The network name cannot be found.

Similarly i shared a folder in XP machine and tried to access that in DOs machine, i got the following error
Error 53: The computer name specified in the network path cannot be located.
Can some one help me with what may be the problem for this.
I tired to access the xp machine using its ip adress and also using its name (name was around 11 character length: Is this can be a problem)
