Can someone tell me what the difference is in using the Net Use Command to map instead of just Mapping from WINNT
There isn't one once the mapping is complete. NET USE was the way to map drives in DOS, and it's still available.
Are you having a problem with it?

I am using Win2000 Professional. I used the net use command to capture a network printer for use in running a Dos app while in Command Prompt. Thus in Win98 it would be like the capture command. The problem is that now all of my print is redirected to the network printer and I do not know how to redirect any print product even under Win apps back to my local printer. Do you know of a way in which to do this?
