Help! I have an old 486 that I FDISKed and I need to reinstall DOS on it so that I can install either Win 3.1 or Win 95 on it. If anyone has MS-DOS 6.0 or higher I would appreciate it. Any tips on installing it would be a plus! Thanks!

If you have any frend that have MS-DOS 6.0 or wath you want, use that for a while. You can even create an boot disk with this commands

1. format an floppy (format a:)
2. copy system files (sys A:)
3. copy the file config.sys and autoexec.bat to the floppy. (copy config.sys a:)

4. copy even this files.

defrag.exe
format.com
edit.com
mouse.com
scandisk.exe
sys.com
qbasic.exe
display.sys
country.sys
command.com

hope this disk would help you
