need shell disk for ms-dos 4.01

system crashed. the shell disk to reinstall on my comp. was damaged, now i cannot get it back up and running. does any one know if the are any sites i can go to and possibly download one on to a 3 1/2 floopy?

Not too sure what you mean - and are you really running DOS4 (from about 1990)?

Isn't MS-DOS 4.00 and IBM DOS 4.01? I have an IBM DOS boot disk with the dosshell.bat on it. I also downloaded MS-DOS 4.01 from the internet a year or so ago, but I had to enter 4.00 to get SETVER to make Format.Com work in ver 6.2.
