Hi,
There is no such a thing as DOS driver for printer. In DOS each program has its own support for printers. If your particular program not supports HP LaserJet you hardly would be able to use this printer.

Most network drivers can be found at the sites of the company that make the card. is this something you have tried?
As for the first question, alot of printers have the same features, it might be possible to use any hP printer driver, to print, but without the extra features of the printer(ie color)

Er NO, Mr o You will need a LASERJET PRINTER DRIVER for HP LaserJet, Later HP DeskJet Drivers will not do! (Only DeskJet offer color printing) But ANY LaserJet Driver will be OK..

thats what i was getting at, i dont mean ANY hp driver, i mean ANY hp laserjet driver. etc, im not that f---in stupid... (sorry if i didnt explain myself to well, but hey.)
