Does anyone know where I can get assign.com for use in pc-dos Ver 7.0? If not, maybe setver.exe for 7.0 will let me use the 6.3 assign.com I have if I can find it.

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE ANY EARLIER VERSION OF ASSIGN.COM IN PC-DOS 7.0. THE ONLY THING THAT SETVER.exe DOES IS DISPLAY THE VERSION OF PC-DOS OR MS-DOS THAT YOU ARE RUNING ON YOUR PC.
