hey there,

My question is regarding UNICODE.
Everytime I ask professionals about Unicode, they always go on and explian to me about how it's used to translate characters, blah blah blah. I do realize that. Instead of asking how Unicode works at the application level, I want to know if anyone knows about Unicode, that is not Unicode general discussion- if that makes any sense.

Does anyone know of any tools for Unicode, that's not a text editor.

I'm looking for UNICODE utilities!! Symbol to Hex, vise-versa. etc.

thx,

all of them... is there some kind of dos utility that someone has already writen, that will convert the symbols into hex... and... able to hex data, and output the symbols??

A while back I created my own ttf barcode font type(please don't ask why). I was able to play around and get the basic understanding of the OS's way of reading what we see as text.

When you look at a so called "compiled" file, such as a .dll file, Windows can't read it, but dos can.. in unicode.

I just want to study the 5W's of unicode. I'm confused! Yes. I think so?!
