My printer takes long to start printing

Hi. I'm having problems when trying to print some date from my Qbasic programs (DOS version). When my programs try to print the data, the printer takes a long time to start working. I dont know if my Windows 98 has anything to do with it, but I've never experienced it before. By the other hand, I get this problem when running Qbasic from a Windows environment.

Can you help me to fix the problem?
Can you tell me whats going on here?

Windows 98 is the problem, unless you get the error when not running Windows 98.
What's going on, only Microsoft knows.
What to do: reformat C.

Right - this resolution above solves nothing...

The problem is, that Windwos dos´nt close DOS Print jobs correctly.

1.
Try to disable the »Spool DOS print jobs«
in the Printer-Options

2.
You can print the job into a file
Then copy this file (with the real COPY command ) to the LPT-Prot
