Comment: i bought 3 dell latitude lt laptops and they had no operating system on them and i tried everything i tried i tried i would like to know what i can do im in dos what can i do i need help pliz its so hard to return such small pc's pliz and i would like toknow how to copy files from A: to c: when there is no os .thanx

Reply: (edit)If your laptops have a floppy drive then use a Windows 98 (or equivalent) boot-disk. Then you can either copy the setup files directly to the hard-drive or run the setup from the CD. Ron

Reply: (edit)Yes how do i copy those files when the cdrom looks like it has no drivers its external and the floppy is external there is no operating system its just a blank thinhg if i tytpe dir in c: theres nuthing totally nuthing. thanx

Reply: (edit)If using dos get a boot diska nd but the "sys" command on it, and type "sys c:"
