CPU/Ram: P3 750, 256
Model/Manufacturer: PCG-XG29
Comment:
I have a P3 PCG-XG29 Sony Laptop that can boot DOS from a floppy disc. I would really like a mouse driver that supports the touchpad, but CuteMouse freezes because the touchpad is not serial or PS2. Are there any DOS mouse drivers that support Sony touchpads? Thank You. :-)

This is somewhat related to this thread:

"Sony Laptop that can boot DOS from a floppy disc"

That sounds handy - did you pay extra for that feature?

Don't know how much searching you've done, or how 'generic' those drivers are, but maybe here, otherwise... Google?

Saying that XP is the most stable MS OS is like saying that asparagus is the most articulate vegetable

Something weird happended...
I had tried CuteMouse more than once, on two different laptops actually (the other was a P2 Dell), but it had only worked on my Desktops. So I tried it again, with this same floppy disc, and it worked!!! It saw the touchpad!! I am so happy. {:-D) I'm still not sure why it froze before; oh, well.

No, I found floppy-disc-image (I think that is it's name) thing that installed DOS to the floppy. Then I just put the disc in the laptop and it starts DOS. It's great because I am a QBasic programmer and I will be able to use this for school, instead of Windows. {:-D)
