Wengier,
First, I would like to thank you for providing MS-DOS 7.10 to those of us who still love using DOS. I just installed it on my old system today using your install CD, and it was a very easy, painless process. I just wondered if you have any plans to include networking tools, i.e. Microsft Network Client 3.0, for future releases, preferably with a setup during install? I'm not complaining, I just thought that networking was really the only thing lacking in your installation. Oh, that and EDLIN, but you can get a hacked copy of MS-DOS 6.22 EDLIN here. Hacked as in made to work with any DOS version. (I hope Alan Robinson will forgive the link to his file.)

Jonathan,
Thank you for that file!
Network support for DOS is great, however, the main problem is that in order for Microsoft Network Client 3.0 for DOS to work on different systems, a great number of different network NDIS2 drivers for different network adapters must be included and configured for MSCLIENT. You can try the following network boot disk(MS-DOS 7.10 + MSCLIENT 3.0):
ftp://210.22.155.236/tools/netdos71.zip
Note: Network drivers for 4 different network cards are already included on this MS-DOS 7.10 + MSCLIENT 3.0 network boot disk. But you can add other network drivers for it manually.

Now, I have added that EDLIN into MS-DOS 7.10 Installation Disk successfully, which is downloadable from:
