You'll have to search for Virtual PC 2004, since the Virtual Machine Additions for DOS floppy isn't included in VPC 2007, even though it still works perfectly

The Addon floppy disk that comes with it works perfectly with VPC 2007, AFAIK.

Didn't work? Said it wasn't the right disk? Last time I checked, the floppy image (DOS Virtual Machine Additions.vfd) had no OS checks whatsoever, you sure you're using the right file?
Unlike later systems you can't just click "install or upgrade additions", because this will always mount the CD, not the floppy.

Weird, works for me... Try copying the files and adding them to config.sys/autoexec.bat manually

I'm assuming here you know the basics about browsing directories/drives in DOS:
Just mount the image, go to A:\SRCFILES and copy "idle.com", "mouse.com", "fshare.exe", "cdrom.sys" and "vmadd386.sys" to some folder in your HD (I'll use C:\VMADD in this example)
Now, in your config.sys, add this to the beggining: DEVICE=C:\VMADD\VMADD386.SYS
Now, in your config.sys, add this to the end (this is all in one line): DEVICEHIGH=C:\VMADD\CDROM.SYS /D:IDECD001
Now, in your autoexec.bat, add this to the end: LH C:\VMADD\MOUSE.COM LH C:\VMADD\IDLE.COM LH MSCDEX /D:IDECD001 /L:E /M:8 C:\VMADD\FSHARE.exe
Then see if it works

I just posted in your other thread re; MS-DOS 7.10a.
With a little work on your part, you should be able to work things and make your own "source" files/images/whatever.....
It's a good day when you learn something

I just told you how to install it manually if the installer doesn't work, but is is the same disk I've already sent you, so you already have it.
