You will only find a MS-DOS Bootdisk at the above locations NOT the full version.
Try http://users3.50megs.com/emoclews/dos622.htm

And before anyone says stop posting links. sending them by e-mail with my return address is not a good idea. plus how do I know who am talking to any which way!

The people that complain about others posting links do so for people such as Terry. I am one of those people and could care in the least if the site actually goes down due to threats by Microsoft as far as I am concerned because I already have just about every MS-DOS version on a Zip disk. I am sure the other people that speak out have a similar situation. So post them if you like - you're only ruining the luck of future Terry's out there. (You could always do anonymous e-mail like from a Hotmail account for the address links.)

Although I don't imagine you want to, if all else fails, you could always buy a version 6.22.
Several software sales vendors advertise the sale of MS-DOS 6.22 in Computer Shopper and, no doubt, in other computer magazines as well.

Is Usenet a dirty word here?
There are any number of news groups a copy of any dos version can be found, requested and retrieved.
Yes you do need a news account or a isp that includes one. You need a news reader. I use Agent.
And....yes I really did start a sentence with and, and you need an up to date anti viri prog.
Sending out files to unknown people is a bit
like asking for trouble. Posting links.....well they are running warez sites and expect to go down sooner or later.W.L.
Below is the look I give the people in the black suits when they come to my office to make a bust. LOL

Why not do a blind ftp search, run a search for dos on the many free webpages, or view the archieves of this forum for links? I know of a few sites, but will leave it at that.

Heres more: Someone will always start a new one, and the link will always be posted.
