Is it possible to get MSCDEX.exe in dos 5.0? I had Dos 6.22, but the disks are now no good for some reason. Now I only have Dos 5.0 and I would like to get windows 95 loaded

If you had a legal version of DOS 6.22, I think you can download it again legally at an abandonware site.

Here's one..... winworld.vze.com
