This is NOT true! The last DOS version was version 6.0. The windows version was renumbered "6" in order to bring it in line with the DOS version, and with WordPerfect (which was also "6").
Now, if only Microsoft made version 6 publicly available, that would be nice.

I've got it on 5.25 disks. I'll have to set up a 1.2 meg drive to see if the disks are still good. I'll send you an instant message when I find out.
