hey guys, well i'm a student and at my school we have windowsXP and theres a dos based file called cmd.exe and when you type the comand "net send" it enables you to send messages to other networked computers. i was interested to know if there was any other comand lines that do other things? like send files or shut computers down?
If you want pretty much full control over another terminal, download and install NetBus or Back Orofice 2000. They are popular tools used for hacing into a network, but they can also be used for remote network administration (its intent for being wrote in the first place) I prefer NetBus, ot has a cool GUI, and is easier to use. you get alot more featrues too. {I would get version 1.7, version2.0 requires registration, and the "server" to accept the connection.})
