First I feel like I'm tossing a bottle in
the ocean --

I am running Windows for Workgroups on a
Toshiba Libretto 50 Ct --

I was using Dos 5.0 which had a Mouse that
could be enabled and disabled from a Bat
file --

I switched to Dos 6.22 and discarded Dos 5.0

I then found that my Dos 6.22 did not have
a mouse --

I found a Mouse.com file on the net and it
works fine when enabled but it will not
disable -- without rebooting --

Mouse Version 8.0 Type PS2 --

It will disable only upon rebooting --

Since I have two programs which run only in
Dos - one of which requires a mouse and the
other will not work with a mouse I need to
be able to disable the mouse --

So where can I find a Mouse.com file that
can be enabled and disabled for Dos 6.22

There should be a switch that you use from the command line to terminate the driver. Something like mouse /O Type mouse /? or mouse /help as this should display the proper use of the switches.

You can use the mouse driver you had in DOS 5.0 and SETVER.exe to use it in DOS 6.22.
