Hello, I am wondering if someone can help me
do a diagnossis here.

I have three hd, on a p166. I just changed the mobo/processor I origionally was using.
The problem is that upon booting up the new mobo, the disks would not boot, the bios however recognizes them corectly, and fdisk sees that they exist.
I just encountered a really odd event though in that WHILE running win9x they are usable, but only when I use win95. In native dos mode though I can't reach them. Any help in finding out at least what is wrong would be nice, even if I can't fix it

Add the line:
lastdrive=z
to your config.sys file. That should fix it.

Good point, W0rm. Of course DOS 6.22 or
lower wouldn't see FAT32 partitions. Should
have thought of that myself.

No no dual boot, and I was sure to use a dos > 7 boot disk, so the fat32 partitions should have been supported, however, it didn't help, and now, I am getting a vfat initialization error. Could the missing drives be result from a corrupted bios boot procedure.
