I'm trying to setup tcp/ip in DOS. I have the 3com drivers installed, or so the 3com diagnostic program tells me. I've been trying to use Microsoft Network Client 3.0 to setup tcp/ip. The problem is that every time I try this I get an error message right before it finishes setting up:
"Setup detected the following disk error. The listed file was not copied.

Error --> C:\NET

To continue, press Enter."

any ideas? I have no speciffic attachment to using MS Network Client; I jus thought it would be the easiest.

Get an Windows NT 4 Server CD or Windows 2000 Pro Server CD.
There are some MS Network Client installation
files on the disk.
