Getting rid of this is easy if you don't mind removing ALL partitions on the disk.
Use a disk editor to change the 55AA at the end of the first sector to zero's. Do not do this if there are partitions you want to keep. Try a partition magic boot disk. These rescue disks have full capabilities, a fact not known to everybody.

Bah!

Use ranish you fools! HAHAHAHAHA.

It's just a matter of selecting the partition with the arrow key, pressing the DELete key to delete the partition, then pressing F2 to save the partition table.

Get Ranish Partition Manager at www.ranish.com . It's one of the best tools you can have for your toolbox.

HTH,
Michael

You can remove the "non-dos" partition from your hardrive using FDISK. Select Display Partitions and find the "non-dos" partition. Then go back and delete it!
