Comment: I am trying to boot from DOS using a 3 1/2" floppy and connect to a network for the purpose of loading ghost images. I have seen other posts that are similar but they just refer you to the protocol.ini and a system.ini. I need more input, what are the steps to creating a network boot disk? Files needed? What is the best sys? DOS 6.22, Win95, Win98? Make it simple.. like you are talking to a child. ;> Thanks for any help. If it is to long for this forum, send me an email. Thanks, Again.

Reply: (edit)Simple... format the floppy from DOS (format a: /s) and copy all of the NWCLIENT directory in its entirety to the a: drive (this is assuming that you are using Novell for your network) edit the startnet.bat and the net.cfg files in the NWCLIENT directory of your a: drive by pointing them to your a: drive instead of your c: drive!! voila, you can now boot to Novell from a floppy and load ghost!! thank you very much, that'll be $60.

Reply: (edit)Is there any information regarding tcp? We have a simple TCP/IP network here, no Novell. Any help would be appreciated.
