Oh boy!!! Stupid. MSD from DOS is getting the MAC address. And you can even let it run and create a log file. Then just grep the MAC and that's it... a little programming work, but hey... it works for me :)

Most of the time when you buy a network adapter, you receive a floppy disk which contain the drivers for the different OS On this floppy you will also find a diagnostic/setup program. Use it and you get the MAC address of your network adapter
