In answer to those who search forums for answers. The low level for Jts drives subject died without resolving it. JTS provided/sold drives with a utility ie. you have a drive you are entitled to the utility, but generally end up lost after a few years. Previously JTS lowlevel format was discussed in 1999 (as well as Jan 2003). One of the respondents mentioned Ontrack ver 8.01. If you are looking for Ontrack 8.01 for JTS champion hard drives. Search for "jts.zip". 2 versions; one is dated 1995 but Ontrack 8.01 dated 1997 is 405 kB. Just unzip it onto a dos system diskette. (Don't waste time searching for the file via key words like ontrack or 8.01 u'll waste days) Either one of these utilities may help. Ver 8.01 IS FOR JTS drives only.
