I HAVE GOTTEN USE TO WORD PERFECT 5.1 AT WORK AND REALLY LIKE IT, AND WOULD LIKE TO INSTALL IT ON MY COMPUTER AT HOME. I'VE CHECKED EVERYWHERE I CAN THINK OF TO BUY THE PROGRAM AND NO ONE CARRIES IT BECAUSE IT SO OLD. IT WOULD ALSO HELP TO HAVE IT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO ACCESS WP5.1 AT WORK FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS NOW. I KEEP GETTING "A FATAL EXCEPTION HAS OCCURED" MESSAGE.
isnt there wordperfect 7.? for windows? its just as good. plus im pretty sure its possible to configure word 97 as wordperfect(isnt it part of the options menu?)

Jennifer, WP shows up quite regularly on ebay/ software. If you dont find a copy I think I have an extra set of discs, however, they are probably 5 1/4, if you can deal with that. I may be able to put them onto a cd, in any case I dont have much into them.

You can get a new, fully-licensed set of WP51 disks from www.alphabest.com. WP51 is still the favorite with medical and legal transcriptionists because of its speed.

Old as it maybe but we are still using word perfect 5.1 and invested lot of our precious time at work in creating multitude of macros. Can it be done effortlessly to convert these macros into the later newer versions.

Does anyone know where one can purchase the installation disks(ver. 5.1 or course) for the Mac?
