Recently acquired the book " Learn Basic Now " by M Halvorson & D Rygmyr Microsoft Press 1989 ISBN 1-55615-240-X and during a recent move tragically the two disks for the book were damaged beyond repair.
Searched everywhere including Ebay Australia but no luck. The couple of copies I found had the floppies missing.
Microsoft Press could not assist either.
Any of you DOS enthusiasts have a copy and perhaps could mail them to me as my ISP email does not like file attachments over 1MB.

No joy here - have you checked QuickBasic Cafe?

Don't know if you came across this in your search ; )

QuickBasic is still alive and well - if you can't locate those disks, at least there are likely a few other resources out there.

good luck

I believe he's looking for the companion disks:

Learn BASIC Now, by Michael Halvorson and David Rygmyr, Microsoft Press, Includes 5.25" companion disks with QuickBASIC interpretor

.. but I'm not sure if he has the actual interpreter etc.

ludedude25. Thanks for your reply.
I am looking for the disks that came with the book as the book is a step by step training package that works in conjunction with the floppies.
Just found a few copies of the book with the floppies on a place called half ebay but when I tried to join with my Australian Ebay details it said the site was only available to US and Canadian residents. What a bomber.
