Subject: Looking for basic floppiesOS: DOSCPU/Ram: MMX133 128mb |
Comment: Recently acquired the book " Learn Basic Now " by M Halvorson & D Rygmyr Microsoft Press 1989 ISBN 1-55615-240-X and during a recent move tragically the two disks for the book were damaged beyond repair. Searched everywhere including Ebay Australia but no luck. The couple of copies I found had the floppies missing. Microsoft Press could not assist either. Any of you DOS enthusiasts have a copy and perhaps could mail them to me as my ISP email does not like file attachments over 1MB.

Reply: (edit)QuickBasic is still alive and well - if you can't locate those disks, at least there are likely a few other resources out there. good luck We have nothing against ideas. We're against people spreading them. - General Augusto Pinochet of Chile

Reply: (edit)ludedude25. Thanks for your reply. I am looking for the disks that came with the book as the book is a step by step training package that works in conjunction with the floppies. Just found a few copies of the book with the floppies on a place called half ebay but when I tried to join with my Australian Ebay details it said the site was only available to US and Canadian residents. What a bomber.
