Are there any utilities, other than RMSoft Hypereal, which can load programs into EMS memory? Don't tell me it can't be done, I've used Hypereal and it works. Just not on the computer I'm trying to use it on. Maybe my version's corrupted, I don't know. Hypereal requires that an RMsoft device be loaded in memory, and it must be AFTER Himem and BEFORE EMM386. This is for protection, you can't use any of the products by them if this isn't loaded, it also has the option to put in a password. I did make a configuration to test it on, though, and it locks up whenever I load it after Himem. I've tried a few different Himem versions and have checked the order. Still locks up. I loaded a debugging program - DEBUGNXT - right before it to see if I could get a register dump, which is basically what the program does, and it still crashed the computer.
So, I'm looking for a program that serves about the same purpose as Hypereal - loading TSRs into EMS memory - or else a way to fix the RMsoft driver so Hypereal will load. If you ask me, this is the fault of the company, having to have a driver loaded in memory in order to use them, and my computer hating the program.
