Comment: I found a program from MS-DOS-bootdisk that adds support for long filenames. I copied this program and it's drivers to my Freedos-bootdisk but it wont work with it. Any suggestions/solutions?

Reply: (edit)Don't try x86's links except the first one, because they won't work. His first link is LFN Tools, which is actually some third-party LFN tools, but not a DOS LFN driver, because FreeDOS doesn't support LFN, while MS-DOS 7.x does. Only MS-DOS 7.x and ROM-DOS 7.x have native LFN support. More information is available at: http://newdos.yginfo.net/msdos71.htm

Reply: (edit)Note that I'm talking about LFN for DOS, not for WFW3.11. LFN for DOS is stable but LFN for WFW3.11 is not quite finished yet.
