I found a program from MS-DOS-bootdisk that adds support for long filenames. I copied this program and it's drivers to my Freedos-bootdisk but it wont work with it. Any suggestions/solutions?

The reason is simple: MS-DOS 7.x supports Long File Names(LFN), but FreeDOS doesn't support LFN.

Don't try x86's links except the first one, because they won't work.

His first link is LFN Tools, which is actually some third-party LFN tools, but not a DOS LFN driver, because FreeDOS doesn't support LFN, while MS-DOS 7.x does. Only MS-DOS 7.x and ROM-DOS 7.x have native LFN support.

Note that I'm talking about LFN for DOS, not for WFW3.11. LFN for DOS is stable but LFN for WFW3.11 is not quite finished yet.
