While in Windows 98, my keyboard works fine. It also works fine in dos prompt. When I select shutdown, restart in MS-DOS mode, the c: prompt comes up. However, that's when my keyboard stops operating correctly. It doesn't matter what key I press, nothing shows up on the screen. The only thing I can do is power-off my computer. It's like I don't have a keyboard hooked up or DOS is not loading the proper driver. Do any of you have any tips on how I can get my keyboard to work in dos mode? Thanks!!!

Do you have one of those crazy USB keyboards? Useless, if you ask me, just use the DIN connector on the computer, USB isn't any better for keyboards than DIN....

I did not have any video in DOS one time. My problem was Windows 98 was trying to shut me down in my opinion. Do you have any porblem with windows? Does your information services bar have multi color names on it or yellow folders? One more question. Does your keyboard work if you boot with a DOS boot disk? If it does, windows is probably causing the problem.
