I am trying to update my BIOS on my KT7A-RAID mobo and in order to do that I have to boot off of a floppy. But when I try to run "keyb.con" it gives me an error message of "Active code page not available from CON device." I need to run this file to use the keyboard in AWDflash.exe Any help would be great. BTW it says I cannot use autoexec.bat or that other dos boot up file.

You don't need to run KEYB to type things. It only serves to nationatinalize the keyboard layout (by default BIOS uses the key codes of US keyboards), besides that KEYB is a TSR and will eat up lot of conventional memory that your flash program may need.
But if you insist in load KEYB, try this (assuming you are using M$ DOS):
KEYB ,437,A:\KEYBOARD.SYS
you'll need KEYB.COM and KEYBOARD.SYS in your diskette, if your country can use the 437 code page set.
If not you can't load another code page without statements in CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Probably the manufacturer of your bios told you not to have those files in your boot disk to prevent the load of HIMEM.SYS, EMM386.EXE, that put your CPU in virtual 86 mode, and TSR that can eat up memory needed by the flash program. Sometimes that flash programs are built with a DOS extender to take advantage of extended memory.
