Win 98 when opens a DOS VM, the VM uses few CPU, but if any program is started, and keeps waitng input from keyboard, as any DOS Text Editor for exampole, then the DOS VM starts eating a lot of CPU. Does someone have a KEYB.COM patched to add a Interrupt 2F subfunction 1680 , on the keyboard loop ? Ps: INT 2F 1680 is (Release CPU) (My objective is reduce the CPU usage of the DOS VM when waiting for keyboard input. Thanks, Reply by e-mail and post please, I dont follow this forum regularly

I have not an answer to your question, only that I have the same problem in Windows 2000 running a DOS application - my 1 GigaHz CPU is used up to 100% when I communicate with the program.. do you have a solution perhaps in the meantime ? Thx, Piet
