IRDA are configured in BIOS usually as COM Port 2, therefore if the CellPhone uses TCP/IP for communication, and has a real IRDA Port, it should be "feasible", though you may need to write software application for the Cell Phone.

I don't think anyone has written any IRDA dos drivers. It'd be nice if someone would though.

I stand corrected. here's a link to a couple of dos irda drivers.

Nevermind it's an ir keyboard driver.
