Comment:
I just loaded DOS 6.22 on a government machine and when I try to format the drive in says "Invalid media type reading drive C". I can't figure out the problem. I though "media" meant the cable inside connected to to hard drive and checked and everything looks fine. I am new to the computer field and need all the help I can get. Thanks for any response. Well, the message "Invalid media type" basically means that the drive isn't formatted for DOS (or requires a later version) and you'll probably just have to format the hard drive, and, to be sure, run FDISK, remove the partition and create a new one.
