Hello. I've been trying to play a game in DOS mode (restarting in dos mode) and every time I type in the directory of where the game is installed I get the error message "Invalid Drive Specification". The game is installed on Drive C and that is what I'm typing. I'm very confused! I haven't used DOS in awhile, so i don't know if I've done something to mess it up. I have never reformatted or anything like that. Any clue what's going on? Please reply! Thank you!

Installed on drive c is pretty vague - you need to specify the subdirectory (folder) at the command prompt. You should already be in C:\windows (default).
If your game folder is.. well let's say c:\game then you would enter
cd\game
to navigate there.
More specific info on the game's location would help.
(Yah - oliver2 - we already know what OS - it's in the post)

Sorry...I thought had given all necessary info. I'm running Windows 98, Second Edition. When I restart in DOS mode, the default command is C:\windows then i type cd: to get just the c:\ command and then type the directory name and game file name (located at c:\vnm\afraid\afraid.bat) That's when I get the error.

cd\vnm\afraid\
will get you there - then just enter
afraid
to launch the batch file (afraid.bat)
... which is just a text file containing the appropriate DOS commands to start the game.
(cd: is meaningless to DOS and will generate an error message - don't add the ':')

... should read
cd\vnm\afraid
(still works the other way, just don't need the extra '\')
