My browser is WIN ME. In a 60G drive,I've used System Commander 7.04 to make three 16G-
Fat32 partitions and one 2G-Fat16 partition.I want to install DOS 6.22 on my 2G F: drive.
DOS instructions call for the A: drive. Please tell me how I can put the program on
the F: drive.

By default, DOS will install to the C: drive which is FAT 16. It wont even see the other partitions because it doesn't know what FAT 32 is. However, you must be able to set that 2 Gig partition as the Active-Primary(boot) partition and if it is currently part of an extended partition you wont be able to do that. Once you have everything set properly, DOS willsee the 2 Gig partition as the C: drive.
Hope this helped.

you can get a free boot manager that will set your partition as active, nip over to www.xosl.org to get a copy.
this can be installed from dos, and does linux, NTFS, FAT32, FAT16, OS/2, and last, but not least, HPFS
any partition that will be holding an o/s should be a primary partition.
these partitions will not be accessable from the other os'es if they are dos, or win 9x
hope dis helps a bit, and yes, i do use xosl, on my main pc.
