I am having problems installing 98 on box I have been using NT on. First thing I did was use fdisk to delete the ntfs partition and make a new primary dos partition. I then formatted the c drive. Then I ran the 98 setup program from the cd. When it rebooted and tried to boot from the c drive the screen turned to orange and black stripes. I don't know too much about DOS. If you can tell me what I did wrong I would appreciate it. Thanks for your help.

HOT TIP:
Ask someone in the Windows 9x forum. That's a question concerning Windows, and is a problem you'd never get with DOS.

You may have to use EFdisk to completely remove NTFS.
