hi. Well, i just want to know how would i make my cdrom external run in msdos mode?
I do have the cdrom's drivers but i just dont know how to install them in msdos mode, so i can install windows 98

You are not getting answers because there is not enough information. SCSI or IDE? Is the drive parallel port, USB, Firewire or SCSI port attached? The problem is I do not know whether DOS can communicate with USB or Firewire. As for the other two I think you install the drivers the same way for internal or external drives it is just different drivers that work the parallel port for IDE.
