im a german boy, so my enlish is not very good.
is there a command in dos to make an input field?
i want to have the input in a variable.

For DOS batch (not NT/2K/XP batch), try the good example from this page:

is there also a method for win XP?
i cant use win 98 any more, i crashed it

If you want a NT batch script instead of a DOS batch, please try Programming Forum or Windows XP Forum, as the rule (warning messages) of this forum states. They are different batch languages, and WinXP has no "DOS". Look at here for more information:
