Is it possible to implement Wake-on-lan without any Windows or Linux PC's, just MSDOS6 or compatible ???
This is not a warez or a NT Batch related question!!

I think you have to find a method to send the 'magic bullet' on the net. Don't know how, but I have a WOL card that I am going to try. Apparently you need to send the MAC address in the right packet. I did see a router that had that ability.

Thankyou vey much for response, but I undertake WOL on Windows and Linux implementations and aware of Magic Packets. I use Line Command on both, but all the software states Wins32 or Linux, I am looking for a "MSDOS6 or compatible version" to send a Magic Packet.

Do you have DOS networking up and running? I think you need a packet driver to send the magic packet.

Networking is established both Network Client 3.0 on this setup, will be hopefully be going the WATTCP route with just Packet Drivers, just need DOS6 compatible Magic Packet WOL Software.
