I really need some help! A while back I lost my cd driver in DOS mode--IDECD001--and I can't get it back. I think a command line was deleted in my computer's program, but I don't know where. PLEASE someone help me!!!

you know what although this is pretty easy to fix, I have a even better way... go to www.windrivers.com goto their utilities section, select previous utilites update, goto cdrom, scroll down and find the ultimate cdrom driver that works with 99% of all IDE cds..... that'll keep things simpler in the future too wouldnt it

IDECD001 is not a driver its a command.
The CD Driver is a *.SYS file (* being the file name) It is needed along with MSCDEX.exe to run CD-ROM
Follow advice above, this utility will also set Autoexec.Bat & Config.Sys files for you.
