I would like to slow down my computer so that I can play an old DOS game. There is one program that I know of but it is incompatible with Windos. Any advice?
Thanks a million,
Rudy

i dunn think the prob is with ur CPU speed, it's the difference between how DOS and windows handles memory or something like that. I'm not really sure, but it's for sure not your CPU speed. I have games that don't work on XP that works on 95/98. some games don't work on 98 works on 95. Or try to just boot into dos(press F8 at start) and use c:\ prompt to start ur game.

If you can't play the DOS game from the CMD.exe window, then you can't play the game in Win XP. I think.

If it goes too fast then do this:
Right click on the program that you want to slow down, click the program tab, and then click advanced. Check the box next to "Compatible Hardware Timer Emulation" and that should slow it down for you.
