I Need To Get Into Windows, but don't know password

My daughter changed the password to windows and doesn't remember it. Is there a way to get into Windows without putting a password through DOS?

Try hitting the esc key when the passord screen comes up.

delete the *.pwd file in the windows dir. donīt konw exactlly where it is but search for it

If you have the Username, boot the computer from a DOS floppy, change to c: drive, cd to windows directory, dir username.pwl
If it's there, delete it. Reboot the computer into windows. Enter a new username/password combination.

Boot windows in Save-mode. Delete C:\windows\*.PWL (the .PWL content your Password for windows) Restart your computer and you been ask for a new Password
