Any machine with 256k RAM will run Dos 6.22

I am trying to reload the software into my NEC Multispeed HD. I have my manuals but I can't locate the software. According to the manual it needs DOS 3.2. If you could help me out with this I would appreciate it greatly!!

I have an old Tandy 1000 EX with DeskMate software but need a disk to boot it. The Radio Shack saleman said MS-DOS 6.2 wouldn't work (is he lying?) and tried to get me to pony up $24 for a 5 1/4 floppy with 3.2 on it. Any ideas? Thanks!
